I guess just by looking at the name, you might not have thought this was an indian restaurant, perhaps some kind of indian confectionary store? Their name
comes from the large amount of indian slices and desserts they sell in the front, and then past the cash register is the main eating area. Some nice paintings,
and the place was reasonably busy for a Friday night. I might also mention that the Hilltop Hoods were eating in the same room,
but it's Adelaide, everyone runs into everyone here!
Our final score: 6.7583/10

Gosht Rogan Josh
In terms of curries, lamb and chicken are my two favourite meats (for those who don't know, Gosht curries have lamb meat). Rogan Josh dishes are probably as
hot as I am comfortable in eating, so what better choice than the Gosht Rogan Josh! Described as a medium curry, the spicyness and hotness rated just above medium
which was a good change from the creamy mild curries as of late. Good flavours, and good tender meat too, not to forget the excellent lamb mince naan bread! Not bad value
as well, keeping prices under $30 each. The paintings were interesting, as they were encrusted with jewels (plastic probably) but nice nonetheless. Overall, a very
warm homely feel to this little sidestreet venue, unfortunately we didn't try any sweets though, maybe next time!

Service: 7.1/10 -No complaints, good that the waitress underlined many times the words "extra hot" for Brad's vindaloo.
Quality: 7.5/10 -Tender and crumbly meat, very juicy and sauce was tasty.
Atmosphere: 6.9/10 -A little bit plain inside, but nice like a little cafe.
Value: 7.1/10 -Pretty good for averaging $30 including beer and special naan.
Final Score: 7.15/10

Maya's Spicy Chicken
This week's curry was probably one of the less intelligent decisions I have made lately. "Maya's Spicy Chicken" for someone who does not
like hot food, the rationale behind the decision was "its got peppercorns, I like pepper steak, lets try that." To its credit, you could
clearly taste the pepper and that in itself was quite pleasant, the flavours also, quite nice, sadly for me though the heat was slightly
ovepowering. Meat quality left a lot to be desired; somehow because the sauce was almost black they figured they could just throw anything in.
Chicken naan won some points though, not so much on its flavour but on its uniqueness, give it a try, not fantastic, but cool all the same.

Service: 8.5/10 -Quick! Friendly staff, very keen to sell you more drinks.
Quality: 5.5/10 -Poor quality chicken, way too much skin and I even got a bonus piece of cartlige.
Atmosphere: 6.5/10 -Quaint backstreet establishment.
Value: 8.0/10 -Gouger street almost always gets a good wrap here, cheap parking makes it even sweeter.
Final Score: 7.125/10

Gosht Vindaloo (Hot)
That's just my life cycle,
curry matters when the night is friday,
Because my atmosphere and service be meaning everything to me,
Now face value and quality that seem to come easy,
Is that the Hilltop Hoods sitting next to us I see?
And if our tongue tell’s no lies, then we usually find,
that the prices were about average and there was no bind,
It's just good tasting food for these illusionary minds,
So stop walking straight and narrow down vindaloosionary lines.
