This is a pretty classy place to go to, with two dining areas including a function room.
It seemed to be very popular, seeing as we had to wait an hour to be seated even though we had booked a time,
and from looking at the signs on the door this venue has won SA and national Restaurant awards in the past. "Renowned for serving the best Northern Indian cuisine in Australia",
it's somewhere to enjoy your food, drinks and surroundings in style.
Our final score: 7.45/10

Roghan Josh
Apart from the hour long wait, I was very impressed with the quality of the venue and meal.
A very decent selection of Australian and Imported beers, not to mention some good whites and reds in stock. Although not a hot curry by nature,
the roghan josh was OK for hotness, but if you're a veteran curry eater this one won't tickle your heatbuds although it will still taste superb.
I can see why this place was rated highly for food quality, as everything was better than I expected. Genuine indian curries here.
Thanks to Sam (waitress) who gave us all each
two shots of Bailey's liqeur for free! And also to Steve for being there to instigate the free shots!

Value: 8.8/10 -$24.00 Marginally more expensive than other restaurants but was top quality.

Beef Vindaloo
A pretty classy establishment, would be a very non-threatening place for someone to take their first
tentative steps into the world of curries. Very attentive staff means your water never runs dry and food arrives
quickly. Most mains were about $22 without rice, but were big enough to satisfy.

Service: 8.0/10 -Once we got our table the service was excellent.
Quality: 7.0/10 -Very nice, but the meat was a bit tough.
Atmosphere: 6.0/10 -Comfortable chairs, plenty of elbow room at the table but kind of boring.
Value: 7.0/10 -$23.00 Complimentary shot and pappadums with dipping sauce make up for the expensive mains.

Butter Chicken
Probably one of the classier Indian establishments in Adelaide, and a fitting beginning to the curry tour.
Hotness 1/10, the tiniest tingle that will be unlikley to upset even the most sensitive. The long wait for table was partially redeemed at the end of the meal with 2 free shots for all involved.
Comfortable chairs and spot-on mood lighting make this place perfect first date material, just dont bite off more than you can chew.

Service: 5.0/10 -Long wait for table, however service once table was offered was faultless.
Quality: 9.0/10 -Awesome flavour, tender meat and didn't have any fragments of bone or sinue.
Atmosphere: 8.5/10 -Comfortable chairs and spot-on mood lighting.
Value: 6.0/10 -$21.00 It was enough to be well and truly satisfying at a reasonable price.

Chicken Vindaloo (Extra Hot Request)
Portion size was reasonable and I did like the napkins and table cloths they'd stolen from more actual restaurants in India and then framed, but there were too many fat people for
my liking. Free pappadams and shots at the end brought the value back up. Roti was a tad burnt too, but minor qualms only. The tables were nicely decorated, drinks refilled instantaneously and
spiciness requests accepted. I didn't really care about the hour wait because I was late.

Service: 8.8/10 -Waitress was friendly and encouraging, meals delivered swiftly.
Quality: 7.9/10 -Meal was very tasty but chicken pieces weren't quite as tender or juicy as they could have been.
Atmosphere: 7.0/10 -A few statues doesn't make a curry den.
Value: 7.0/10 -$22, plus more for rice, roti and drinks.
Final Score: 7.675/10

The Chili Roulette!
The first week of the Chili Roulette game! How exciting! Steve and Tim were espcially afraid this time round, but unfortunately
for our humour they didn't get their number called up. Out of the seven diners on the night only two had to take the challenge.
Josh ate one and Angus was lucky enough to have to eat two!
Hopefully next week there will be more!

Josh wasn't phased one bit, according to Brad they weren't that hot.

Gus was hesitant as anyone would be, but still he completed the deal.
