Ah, nice to be back after a week off, it makes the experience more to look forwards to, and the Bombay Bicycle Club was a good choice to bring in the
new month! Lots of people turned up today as well making it a good catch up for all. This place is run by the same people as the Tap Inn, with a "jungle" theme
throughout it also had a similar feel to the Tap. Julia was hyping up the quality of the meals, so I was expecting something really good tonight! Nice elephant statues too!
Our final score: 6.908/10

Lamb Rogan Josh
Again with the lamb roghan josh, I still maintain it is the best curry for those who don't want something too hot or too mild!
I was very surprised with the pricing as well. Meals for basic curries started at $15.90 and only up to $22.90 for Morton Bay Bugs and Bacon. Not
to mention they have 900g steaks (well done Eli) and they cook them properly to how you say you want it. Considering that it also came with rice, pappadums
and raita all inclusive, value was way up there. Atmosphere gets good points with statues, jungle theme and the eating area was not too shabby either.
Meat was tender, sauce was a good hotness, but the only downfall were their naan breads
which were more like turkish breads. Oh, and service was shockingly slow, but it was pretty busy. It was good too see the waitresses come round to check up on Eli's steak
though!

Butter Chicken
Well I hope youre not thirsty! Drinks service was appauling with 5-10 minute waits on something as simple as a glass of wine,
god help you if you ordered an Appletini like me! Service points were redeemed with the speed of meal service and also with the
fact that they very quickly whisked out 6 serves of naan that were ordered after the curries arrived, good job. This place has a
very similar feel (for those of you playing at home) as the Tap Inn with the entry walkway themed with weird and wonderful artworks
intended to be from Africa. A good value for money meal if you don't mind booking weeks in advance, parking 3 streets away and waiting
ages for drinks.

Atmosphere: 8.5/10 -Very nice setting, expect no less from the makers of the Tap Inn!

Chicken Tindaloo
The Bombay Bicycle club had everything you'd expect in a CBD hotel. Gaming room, pool table, inexpensive meals but
comparatively dearer drinks. It didn't have any Bicycles and, despite what their website says, it was lacking in Bombay at all.
Sure, the menus were housed in gigantic versions of Kipling's 'Jungle Book', but this didn't really make the place seem Indian
it just made it so they didn't fit on the table properly when you had finished reading it.
In the 90's it was apparently notorious for being a singles club, and without Bombays or bicycles I think that club is the only
appropriate word left in its title. I asked for my Tindaloo to be extra hot, fearing the worst. But their version of extra hot was just a
bowl of chillies in chilli sauce on the side which I stirred methodically through the meal and then ate without much
complaint.
The meal itself was cheap, but small. Mostly rice. There wasn't much meat and the Tindaloo was pretty bland.

Service: 5.1/10 -Tended to my every need with no respect for punctuality.
Quality: 3.6/10 -Way too small and not delivering the exotic, spicy kick the menu promised.
Atmosphere: 7.7/10 -There was commitment to the theme, but I hated the lighting.
Value: 8.0/10 -Meals were good value despite their smaller size, drinks were pricy but I only had OJ.
Final Score: 6.1/10

The Chili Roulette!
Some new faces today again, and with 12 people playing the game we had to get some entertainment out of tonight!
Unfortunately, which I don't quite understand why not, they did not have fresh chilis to give us, so instead they substituted
a bowl of hot chili paste, which Brad had already tried with his meal. Apparantly not very hot, as Byron and Eli discovered!

Byron has no fear, he'll eat it anyway.

Eli had to have two, but it wasn't that hot anyway.
