Josh is a big fan of this place, and his family had been coming to grab takeaway for years. I couldn't find much information about them on the internet, but then again you really have to see for yourself...it's hard to taste things over the internet. All I can say is, their deep fried naan breads are the best (same as Bhaturas), everyone must try it and I'm being quite serious about that. After having a week off, a big crowd managed to come along and rejoin the string of reviews, so onwards curry!

Our final score: 6.5625/10

Veena Melegu Beef

I think this may be one of the few times I have had a beef dish, but being a unique specialty dish, I just had to try it! Obviously by looking at the name of the dish, the chef/owner made up his own recipe, making it very black and sweet. After chatting to him for a few minutes and found out he lived in Malaysia, I picked correctly that his secret ingredient was oyster sauce and "manis" sweet sauce. The meal was nice, with tender beef and unique sauce was a good change from your regular, but the service was very slow especially when we were the main patrons on the night. Average to high price range, but really the highlight were the fried naan's...very much like a big donut!

Service: 4.8/10 -Very slow to get drinks, and even slower for food.
Quality: 8.4/10 -Great curry, naan bread topped it off nicely.
Atmosphere: 6.5/10 -Plain inside, and no background music, not that appealing.
Value: 8.3/10 -Very cheap, mains under $16 and the naan breads only $3, drinks expensive though.
Final Score: 7.0/10

Butter Chicken

I find myself parking in a dark gym carpark (of course, in true Nathan style, entereing through the carpark exit) and traversing a garden to enter a darkly lit house come indian establishment. Here youll find a decent range of reasonably priced meals, but as long as youre prepared to wait forever to get them. I'm beginning to not understand why there so many lengthy delays to produce a curry, its just reheating and a little bit of seasoning isn't it? Overall though a good quality, good value meal that promotes healthy table conversation and adequate time to get farmiliar with the pointless urinal.

Service: 4.0/10 -Slow service, and a waiter that had difficulty understanding us...we did give her a bit of a hard time though.
Quality: 6.5/10 -Good but not fantastic; tender meat, reasonably flavoursome, not too sweet.
Atmosphere: 5.0/10 -Lets say... "home style" 4 bowls of rice; 4 different style of bowl, cold plates, bizzare mens bathroom.
Value: 9.0/10 -About $25 per person, awesome value! Small (but adequate) curry serves though.
Final Score: 6.125/10

The Chili Roulette!

Another week off makes the game more exciting upon return! Another new person, as Abby brought along Lauren, who also happened to go to my high school. Unfortunately no fresh chilis (apparantly due to the skyrocket in chili prices due to water restrictions) so we had to make do with some kind of pickled chilis...very gross as two people found out...
