Lunch: Noon-3pm Fri-Sun Dinner: 5.30pm-9.30pm Tues-Sun.
The last place on Jetty Rd for us to review! Another upstairs establishment, don't be fooled by their mis-spelling of the word "Indian" on their business cards, Glenelg Indian Cuisine has
plenty to offer including a balcony overlooking they bay, perhaps more suitable on a warmer night. After this episode you'll be able to see just who reigns curry king in the southern beach neighbourhood!
Our final score: 7.475/10

Lamb Roghan Josh
This might actually be the picture of another dish that I can't remember the name of, but it doesn't really matter because both of them looked the same in our little banquet. I haven't
had a good Roghan Josh for quite some time now, and I thought why not - let's get back to my original roots and hit the high streets again with my favourite dish. I was a little surprised on
first taste as the sauce was a lot sweeter whilst still maintaining a mild spice cashew flavour. There was a good home cooked taste to the sauce with hints of cumin and coriander seeds, but the meat unfortunately was a bit tough, and the pieces were rather small, otherwise enjoyable mainly due
to the lovely creamy sauce. Prices here are pretty fair, mains under $15 and naan breads under $3, so you and your mates can have your own À la carte banquet. The service here is also pretty
good and food arrived without delay. Overall a nice little eatery, nothing flash but good value. Not the best curry but definitely not the worst. For me, way better than Pride of India but not as
good as Bay of Bengal.

[Service] 8.9 -Good service, nothing to fault, plenty of staffing.
[Quality] 7.8/10 -Great sauce but needs to have more tender pieces of meat.
[Atmosphere] 7.1/10 -Bonus points for bollywood movies playing, otherwise nothing special.
[Value] 8.0/10 -Fair prices for a Glenelg establishment, but there's better value elsewhere.
Final Score: 7.95/10

Saag Ghosht
I felt that this curry event was an event of all things fairly average. I
walked away feeling like I'd completed the dinner
component of my evening but without dinner being the evening. At around
$14.50 for the curry I thought this curry
and its accompaniments were on par with an average priced curry house. I
didn't anticipate too much spice in my meal
but I was left with a much appreciated, slightly warm buzz in my mouth.
There was a nice tomato addition on the
top of the curry which blended well with some interesting and active spices
in the sauce. The meat was tender enough
to mention here.
The Bollywood movie playing on a wall mounted LCD was a major point of
conversation throughout the evening.

[Service] 7.0/10 -Fairly quick and efficient with the delivery of everything.
[Quality] 7.0/10 -Above average, nothing to write home about. Meat was quite tender though.
[Atmosphere] 6.0/10 -Seaside India? Fairly light on with the Indian feel, quite friendly however.
[Value] 8.0/10 -Prices didn't have me looking at my wallet thinking "did I bring enough cash?
