Wow, so many awards! I haven't seen a restaurant with such a list of commendations! I have heard that this place is one
of the best places in Adelaide, so I think we were expecting something flash. Very nice interior with walls lined with
artifacts, and even a wall of signed cricket bats from all different international teams! Immediate sense of quality to come as
soon as you step in the door (and down the stairs).
Our final score: 7.6125/10

Bhoona Gosht
Curry nights are always something I look forwards to, and tonight the venue we were eating at definitely appealed. Atmosphere marks
are gonna be excellent, great layout, mood lighting, and I really liked the signed cricket bats! Small indian items around, and even the
wallpaper was nice! We had a variety of multicultural waiters/waitresses, Indian, French, Asian who were all on the ball. A minor stuff up also
meant that we got a free main Chicken Tikka. The Bhoona Gosht (lamb) was delicious, pretty spicy and meat was tender. Cheese naan was tops as per usual
as well, and all for a reasonable price including a beer. Too bad about the hotness of the chili's for roulette, but very nice of them not to charge us
for those and the extra rice we ordered. Overall we left content and probably fares as the best place so far.

Malabari Beef Curry
Be warned, this place can be easily mistaken for something else, the door is small and theres very little (uh, none) signage,
however according to the back page of their menu, such efforts towards advertising are not required; they have an impressive
and extensive list of awards. This was reflected by the food quality and pricing, very few disappointing points about this
establishment aside from small miscommunications with an order and a rude French waitress (I really dont think she was into
me). A change from my standard issue butter chicken, still very mild however.

Service: 6.0/10 -They ballsed up Laras order (well they did, then they said the didnt, but then they gave the meal free... huh).
Quality: 7.5/10 -Pleasant aroma, plenty of flavour, would have liked it to have a tiny bit more kick though.
Atmosphere: 8.75/10 -Compact eating area, but well thought out and pleasant.
Value: 5.0/10 -Small serves, big prices.
Final Score: 6.8125/10

Chicken Masala
I was after flavour, and with this dish I certainly recieved just that. The sauce was excellent, tangy yet mild, and with
hints of a party of herbs and spices it did not disappoint. The chicken I would say was probably in pieces too large for
comfortable consumption without further work required by the consumer, but otherwise was of a high quality. The place itself,
was rather interesting. The restraunt is protected from casual passers-by and the ‘uneducated’ via a noticeable lack of
outside signage, which contrasts sharply with the lovely interior, consisting of a low, mood-setting lightning, various
cultural items and even an oddly varied selection of employees. This I found interesting, as we had 3 different waiters/
waitresses, and each was from a different background, and each provided a very different style and quality of service.
The chili-rounds reportedly weren’t hot, but I passed on testing them as I was recovering from a combination of the rather
warm tindaloo and a case of too much food. If Nathan can handle them, that says it all though.

Service: 8.0/10 -The extreme variety (from poor to excellent) I found rather amusing, and they gave us a free meal.
Quality: 7.0/10 -Good meat quality, really nice sauce. Meat pieces were a little big, and probably lacked something amazing to get higher.
Atmosphere: 7.0/10 -A little posh, but otherwise the lighting was good and it was busy, but spacially abundant and not very loud (probably because we were louder than everyone else anyway).
Value: 7.0/10 -Filling serves, prices were good for the apparent ‘classiness’ of the place.
Final Score: 7.25/10

The Chili Roulette!
Lots of people rocking up to the curry review tonight so should provide some entertainment for the Chili Roulette! Marije
came along for the ride before she moves to Queensland, and Eli came along right after his free champagne tasting night
(so he was pretty much smashed and hungry). Unfortunately, as a curry review first, no one got their number up! Disappointing,
but it had to happen sometime. As we found out, the chili's were not hot at all, Nathan and Marije ate a bowl each!
