Satan's Cheerleaders
www.holdontoyourteeth.com - our new official site. Our first ever show was crudely recorded and is up for your downloading pleasure. (Here if you don't like the whole redirecty thing.)

Salty
www.saltymusic.net - more Salty-related info and goodies than you could shake a sachet at. Footage of me kicking Sam in the head coming soon!

Füd
Extended improvisations spiced with some weird and wonderful compositions and and and I don't know what else. 15/8 songos, coin-based improvs, distorted computer noises, bitching rock-out sections, asian cutlery, architecture music, bicycle parts... nothing is off-limits at a Füd gig. Download one of our shows here.
Leo Auri - piano/keys etc. and the majority of the compositions
Hugh Stuckey - guitar and such
Sam Zerna - electric bass, stereo chorus
Jarrad Payne - drums and percussionables

Buggins
Ben Bugden's dark yet catchy pop-like music. Buggins gigs occasionally around Adelaide, both as the band and as Ben solo. We're also midway through recording an album. Tired of singer/songwriters who play acoustic guitar and sing about the same old crap through familiar cliches? So are we. This is really quite different.
Ben Bugden - vocals and guitar
Leo Auri - bass
Jarrad Payne - drums

Ronnie Taheny
Ronnie's grand site (it makes no mention of me.) I've been gigging with Ronnie every year once a year for the past two years. Both have been huge amounts of fun and a great challenge for me. Singing backing vocals publicly for the first time in front of the sold-out Gov was quite an experience, while this year she had me swinging between drums, percussion, vocals and bass. I can't wait to see what I'll be doing next year. Here's a nice review of the gig which has a nice sentence about me, crudely formatted because I don't have Word on my computer.

the Matt Winter Band
Their real drummer, Steve Leske, has gone on a boat, so I get to play with these guys for six months. Check out their site! It has many various things.

the Liz Chehade Quartet
Like Norah Jones, only good. And she plays jazz. Be watching channel 9 (I think) Good Friday morning about 6:00 (I think) to see us in action!

George Grifsas
I am one of the drummers around Adelaide lucky enough to play with the superb guitarist George Grifsas - look out for him playing at the Royal Oak, the Victoria Hotel, the Findon Hotel, the Cavern and who knows where else?

Jazzamatazz
Everybody loves trad-jazz! And nobody does it quite like Jazzamatazz.

the Duncan Hemstock Sextet
He's busy plundering the seven seas at the moment, but hopefully he'll return and we'll get to play together again. Adelaide's master of lengthy bop-lines.

Jinx
Adelaide Uni's longest running jazz/funk quartet! Averaging one guitarist/year. Most recent line-up:
Tom Hamnett - alto sax
Jon Wilson - bass
Ben Dening - guitar
Jarrad Payne - drums

the Brendan Lim Trio
An damn fine pianist and all 'round nice guy. Also good for friendly legal advice.

Bill Palmer
Okay, I don't really get to play with Bill any more as he's moved himself and his family to Sydney. But we played together quite a bit back in the day, first on an east-coast tour with Avra Velis and somewhat with Tim Carter, then we were both in Salty. We also played for each other's jazz bachelor-of-music-recitals in 2004. Bill has a few tracks from his up at the downloads section of his site. The two tracks from my Lorem Ipsum album which feature Bill are also up there, although you could just download the whole thing here.

Ellington's Heirs
A Duke Ellington tribute band, put together by Ron Spain of the Southern Jazz Club.
